Shedding Season

Well, every season is shedding season for Peanut, but it's going crazy right now. The solution was to buy the Furminator and the Kong Zoom Groom. Who wants to have fur everywhere? Not me. And all the good grooming shines his coat. If you would like to buy a Furminator and/or a Kong Zoom Groom online then here's the link!

Furminator: http://www.amazon.com/FURminator-Long-Hair-deShedding-Large/dp/B0040QQ07C/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1303063731&sr=8-2

Kong Zoom Groom: http://www.amazon.com/KONG-ZoomGroom-Dog-Grooming-Boysenberry/dp/B0002AR19Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1303063913&sr=1-1

You can also buy them at a pet supplies store. When you're using the Furminator, make sure the skin is not wrinkled because the brush is a blade and can cut. If the blade chips then throw it away! And last of all, make sure not to groom in the same spot over and over and over again because you may remove too much hair or irritate their skin. If you irritate their skin then put 'em in the bath and wash with dog oatmeal shampoo/conditioner. If you buy the Zoom Groom then buy another one when the comb bristles are running low(the comb is like an eraser).

Now your canine won't drive you crazy. It's either a groom or fur in your food ;)

Lemons!

I was on the computer eating a lemon(weird right?) and Peanut wanted to have a taste of them-I could very much tell- for the first time so he stole it as fast as any corgi's reflex. And lemons are SO out of his diet plan (you know, his UTI) and I was chasing him down for ten minutes and I finally got him down, but then he started growling. "Bad boy, Peanut!" So, I tried getting a hold of it and he turned his head to the left and turned his head to the right, just which ever way my hand was going so I wouldn't take it until I decided to take his long little body and calmly open his maw and take that fruit out. Oh Peanut...

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS????

Okay, I went to the vet to get Peanut's worm check up and preventions and I weighed him and he was 24 POUNDS! From 19.5 to 24 lbs! The front desk peeps said he was over weight by 2 pounds.... wait, aren't corgis supposed to be at the most, 27 pounds? I guess it was his size and/or age because they considered him a small dog even though corgis are MEDIUM dogs. Ugh. He is a year old and he is fully grown so I don't get that. Any answers to this?

Nubs are the new style

You know how a teen's style is skinny jeans, tight shirts, and flats? And do you know how big, fake glasses are in style also? Well, same with nubs. Don't you ever get tired of seeing a tail wag every day - just plain dog(unless its a cardigan!). I seriously think that nubs are so fun to stare at because they still move even though they are docked tails! Those little nubbins come in ALL sizes from puny, small, medium, long, and extra long. How awesome is that??! And they don't sweep your drink off the coffee table! *GASP!* And those fluffy ones!!!!    Those drive me nuts! Thank goodness for corgis..... to be continued....

- I'm still trying to fix my camera!

Symbolizing Your Corgi

What symbolizes your corgi? For Peanut, a hot dog or a peanut butter jar would do it.

What a corgi fears

Every corgi has a fear. It could be a stranger, a grocery bag, an instrument, an animal, a writing utensil, you name it! Well, Peanut is afraid of writing utensils because every time he sniffs them, they always poke his nose. Yeah, corgis are supposed to be tough nubs, but they also have a brittle side. Peanut tries to be tough and he thinks that he is some how stronger than me(which in some cases he is as when we are playing tug-of-war and he gets really mad.) Peanut thinks everything that looks strange is something to overreact about - that's just him. What about your corgi?

Awooooooh!

Peanut has been "AWOOOOOOHing" more and  more often. And not to mention..... more protective.

As I only wish to be able to upload pictures, my retarded camera changed some sort of setting some how for the upload process and it screwed up so now there won't be any pictures of my nub anymore until I find a nice and long lasting camera that doesn't work like crap. (I even checked the manual!) This sucks. I even thought of uploading a video of Peanut "AWOOOOOOHing" at a squirrel that was out the window.

Have I told you about Peanut's strong muscles? They are VERY strong. I mean his thunder thighs are rock. Every time I try playing chase with him and I catch him, he just pulls his way out of my hands.

I wish I could show you Peanut's long hair. He needs a trim. His butt is the source of hair infestation. It falls EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I learned to love it and I know that Peanut will always be with me everywhere I go - hair-wise.

Smile like your corgi! :D

OMG! SNOW!

It hasn't snowed here in San Antonio, Texas in 20 years or something like that. I woke up in the morning and SNOW! It only snowed about half an inch, but it was fun! Though, I was isolated because there was ice on the roads so I couldn't go anywhere. My house sadly doesn't allow dogs(long story) so I had to place Peanut on the deck and because we couldn't go to the park, there was not a lot to do :(. I took some pics, but Peanut was cold!

^ this is my favorite picture besides all the ones that involve Peanut in it

My fingers were frozen and Peanutter slept a lot. I think he is hibernating. CORGIS!

Yup

Yup, I've gone silent again well, because I have had a REALLY BAD cold and it has been making me tired so I have to just push myself to go up the stairs and type all this. You know what? Peanut has gotten a little plumper and a little heavier. He never gained weight with all that crap I used to give him, but now it seems that he has.

Before

After

Can you see the difference? Forget about the zoom in thing, but what I zoomed in for is the belly. Can you see the belly starting to round up and chunk up? This is the new and improved Peanut... I just hope he doesn't get any fatter...

I'm back with something to say for the first time in a while...

Well first of all, I still can't find the laser that Peanut jacked up. And I also bought him some toys for the heck of it.

(for the pic above) He's more interested than he looks!!!!!

There is always one question I ask myself every day. And that question is "What is my favorite part of Peanut or corgis?"

Seriously, what is your favorite part of your nub or just corgis?????
